When this option is selected the following CSV "table" will be returned:

name of scientist responsible for the collection of these data; may be blank. Please

name or description of PLATFORM or VESSEL used; may be blank |
| START |
Date and Time associated with the water profile (or START TIME for Time-Series/mooring
data). Time is missing from data retrieved from NODC, which means that the TIME is
inferred to be 00:00. Date format is yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm. Data in this
format will IMPORT into EXCEL without any problems. The TIME has been adjust to UTC/GMT,
regardless of the time zone used by the data originator. |

Type of data - either CTD or BOTTLE (or CM for current meters; TCHAIN for Thermistor
Chains; TG for Tide Guage; WIND for meteorological stations; LITEHOUS for Lighthouse T+ S
data. |
| FILENAME |
directory path and filename for this profile in the DATA_LIBRARY. Special note: Filenames
that start with _TC_ refer to (current meter) in the CHS Archive. Many of
these files are duplicated in the IOS/OSAP archive, so there may be apparent
"duplicates" in the results.. |
| LAT |
Latitude in decimal degree (e.g. 49.5 = 49 30.0 N) - positive values are NORTH;
negative values are SOUTH |
| LON |
Longitude in decimal degree (e.g. -124.333 =124 20.0 W) -positive values are EAST;
negative values are WEST |

Users of the IOS/OSAP Data inventory search tools may encounter the
following error messages when using this application. The error messages tend to be
obscure and I have not figured out how to trap them in a more elegant manner. The table
below summarizes the error messages and recommended action.
